The report cover on the left may look typical, but there is much room for improvement. By switching the alignment from boring centering to left alignment in the example on the right, it is now actually set apart from all the other documents made by people who automatically center everything. Also, in the process of achieving optimum proximity, if you are going to separate groups of text for some reason, then really separate them. But again, because the groups are lined up with each other, the eye supplies the red line in the example and the result is a more organized and professional look.
