MATH 101 - Intermediate Algebra
Common Course Number & Description
This course prepares students for college-level mathematics. Topics generally include:
- basic properties of real numbers
- linear equations and inequalities
- quadratic equations
- systems of equations
- polynomials and factoring
- rational expressions and equations
- introduction to functions such as polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions
Credit for MATH 101 will not be granted to anyone who has previously received credit for MATH 102 or MATH 115. A grade of S or a grade of C or better will be required for progression into Math 102.
