The first example is where we left off with the business card, making use of
proximity and alignment.
In the second example a rule (line) has been added
to balance the white space that results. The final example shows how
repeating the same heavy typeface in the phone
number that was used in the business name creates a "bookend" effect, causing
the reader to pay additional attention to the interior information as the eye
goes back and forth from the top of the card to the bottom. In addition, since
most people will save a business card if they think they will need to refer to
the phone number of the business at some point, the repetition of the heavy
typeface adds a more polished look while
emphasizing the most important information. | |
